Free COVID-19 Testing at Sumner Health! 

COVID Vaccine Information
Who is eligible:  ALL Sumner County Government Employees on the County Medical Insurance plan! 

When to be tested: When you have had direct prolonged exposure with a positive COVID-19 case or if you are experiencing symptoms. 

What to expect:
Drive up COVID-19 testing available.  Rapid tests are available with results back within 20 minutes! Saliva tests with results available within 24-48 hours on your patient portal.

Please Note: Depending on symptoms if your rapid test is negative, a confirmatory saliva test may need to be completed.  Those results will be back within 24 hours if indicated.

Turn at the 2nd entrance off Indian Lake Road and pull to the back of the school.  Look for the COVID parking signs. 
Appointment Hours/Locations: 
Monday-Friday by appointment only. 
  • Sumner Health Ellis 8am-12pm CST
  • Sumner Health Portland 1pm=4pm CST
Saturday-Sunday by appointment only. 
  • Saturdays from 7am-12pm at Sumner Health Ellis and Sumner Health Portland
  • Sundays from 1pm-4pm at Sumner Health Ellis and Sumner Health Portland
For an appointment email covid@121.health or call 855-571-4500 to schedule.  A medical professional will contact you for a screening prior to booking your appointment. 

Preparation: Bring your Sumner County Government insurance card or ID badge.

When you arrive for your appointment: Stay in your car! Turn your flasher/emergency lights on.  Someone will come to your car to assist you. 

Symptoms may appear 2 to 14 days after exposure to the virus. 
  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell 
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
